THIS WEEK'S MARKET
CENTS THRU HALVES:
Lincolns from the 1940s remain hot as a trio of San Francisco issues rolls higher. Courtesy of a surging Silver Spot, all of the bullion sensitive denominations rally up. State Quarters finds both of the Georgia “Peach” rolls ripening to a $29 Bid taking the bragging rights for the series.

MERCURY DIMES:
Admirers retain renewed Bidding might as the in demand 1942/41D rallies again. A very strong reprise is driving this popular Mercury higher as the Full Banded MS64 examples roll to $9,500 and MS65FB pieces romp on a 10% drive to $22K.
WALKING LIBERTY HALVES:
Walkers, particularly original, well-struck early keys and rarities, have a waiting, paying audience of enthusiastic patrons. However, a minor rebellion is continuing to chase down the extended short-set again as a rogue pair in Very Choice and Gem each drift back a tad.
DOLLARS:
The extra incentive from Silver Spot spiking is definitely reeling in many more enthusiasts from the sidelines. Whether for common MS65 examples or better dates and keys, the most recent Bidding blitz demonstrates highly visible buyers at designated levels. Adding to the cartwheel’s glory, the premier “CC” installment of 1878 takes a $1,500 Bid in Gem and tough to find MS66 jewels strike to $4,400. The Peace Dollar bandwagon is still rolling along too, although a minor rift in the ranks reveals commoners in MS65 have eased back to $130.
PROOF SETS AND MINT SETS:
Proof Sets are looking to capitalize on the recent increases
pushing the 1950-1952 issues higher again. Mint Sets reveal a similar scenario as only the 1976S 3-piece Bicentennial Set moves up a notch to $10.25 Bid.
COMMEMORATIVES:
Classic Silver continues to taunt us with promises of busting out of the doldrums. Attempting to summon up some positive trade winds, the Antietam takes the offense again as MS65 examples battle to $780, and the popular 1935 Hudson is docking upstream with a $920 Bid in Choice. Classic Gold appears to have gotten a boost as a quartet takes center stage led by the 1903 Jefferson in Gem thru MS66, the latter reclaiming lost territory at $2,800.

TYPE:
Rivaling the season, this market segment is undeniably hot. Three Cent Silvers stoke the fire as all three types of the diminutive Trimes are chiming in with gains. Large Capped Bust Dimes rally in MS63-MS65. Big Brother Capped Bust Quarters are also getting a charge as both versions roll higher in MS63-MS64. Liberty Seated Dollars are standing tall in the saddle again. Sans Mottos claim $46K in MS65 and with Mottos rocket to $55K in the same column. Proof Type is also dazzling us with a summer shower of advances with Three Cent, Shield and Liberty Nickels piling up moderate action across-the-board. Proof Silver is also hot with Dimes thru Dollars increasing.

GOLD:
As the golden express roars ahead by $45 since or last report, those feeling the need for the yellow metal are coming back onboard. The more bullion related are having a field day as a shower of advances cascades below. Perhaps apropos, better Gold Type is also muscling ahead. Type II Gold Dollars reach $35K in MS65 while the very tough to find Type II $20 Libs roar to $33K in MS64. $10 Indians are also whooping up some solid action on the way to $35K for the elite MS67 tribe. The proud $5 Indians are the Big Chief as extraordinary MS67s ride to $62K.
